  11.   This program doesn't have a documentation because it's nearly self-explaining
  12.   and it would cost me much more work. It is one program which allows to
  13.   configure all datatypes of Andreas R. Kleinert ( GIF, JFIF, LJPG, PNG, SVG ).
  14.   This program was written in E (thanks Wouter) and uses the "bgui.library"
  15.   (thanks to Manuel Lemos and all other bgui-developers)

  20.     This software is stated in the PUBLIC DOMAIN so you can do with that
  21.     package what you want. You are using this piece of software at your
  22.     own risk, so the author can not be held responsible for any problem
  23.     occuring with it.

  26.   INSTALLATION
  27.   ------------

  29.     Installation is very simple. Simply copy your desired catalog to
  30.     it's corresponding location on the SYS: partition. Copy the main
  31.     program "akPrefs" to any location you want. On my system it is
  32.     located on "SYS:Prefs/Datatypes/".

  35.   HOW TO USE
  36.   ----------

  38.     If the window appears you can see a cycle-gadget at the top and a row
  39.     of buttons at the bottom. The cycle-gadget contains the name of the
  40.     current selected datatype (f.e. JFIF means configuration for akJFIF.datatype).
  41.     You can switch between the datatypes while pressing this gadget or
  42.     simply pressing the <SPACE>-key. If you have selected the "JFIF" page
  43.     you can switch between general and special settings by pressing the
  44.     "+"-key. If you want to use the settings for a datatype temporarily
  45.     you have to switch to the page of this datatype and then press the
  46.     middle button of the button-row below. If you want to save them for
  47.     all time then press the left button of this row. If you want to exit
  48.     this program you have to press the right button. Whenever you are
  49.     pressing the left or the middle button only the configuration files
  50.     of the current selected datatype are changed, so if you want to
  51.     store the configurations of all datatypes, you have to select all
  52.     pages and then press the middle or left button.

  76.     1.2  : The message "Not enough memory available !" occured while
  77.            saving the configuration. This error is a result of the
  78.            new layout because the type of the gadget to switch between
  79.            the datatypes has changed. Sorry, for this.
  80.            Fixed in version 1.3 .
